With your camera get off Auto and put your camera to Manual Mode. Adjust the aperture and the shutter speed and use your ISO. The lower the number on the aperture the more light you let in. Using high numbers for shutter speed will freeze action. Using higher ISO number enables your camera to work in lower light conditions with more light. Does that make sense? Everybody gets stressed at times in their lives. Whether it be a divorce, job change, loss of family, or living in a Pandemic — life can stress you out!

Bainbridge Island Family Portraits and Paddle Boarding = Summer FUN!!!

Rich and I had the pleasure of doing annual family portraits for the EBaugh family with the beautiful, coastal landscape around Bainbridge Island and the Puget Sound. The family loves to paddle board and is enjoying the summer months outside, on the water, as much as possible. We had fun with them capturing these moments.

Regain your Mental and Physical Strength by Enjoying Nature Through Social Distancing

In this time of change and worldwide awareness for our health and safety it's important to do our best to remain calm, take care of ourselves, and I believe get back to the basics of life. As you know, I recently lost Anabel, my mom, and I'm grateful she passed before the Pandemic. In honor of her life I took a few days last week to recharge my batteries and soul and to remember her legacy. Did you know you should update your business career photos every year or two? Having new professional headshots done shows others you’re current and want to connect with them. I enjoyed photographing my friend and business associate Tracy Bell, Senior Loan Officer, Priority Home Lending, in Poulsbo, Washington. It had been awhile since she had any professional pictures done for her business card and website and she wanted up-to-date headshots using a dark background. We also had time in our appointment to do some fun portraits of her outdoors using nature’s floral background and the ivy at our gazebo. I really enjoyed my time with Tracy and thank her for trusting me to update her professional pictures. Here are some of my favorites from our photo-shoot in March 2020.

Married on a Leap Day in a Leap Year 2020 - I DO!

Cute lovebirds tie the knot, their own way, on February 29, 2020. The ceremony for Marina and Noah was privately held at the Port Orchard Court House followed by a fun family photo session at Liberty Bay Waterfront Park, Port of Poulsbo. The couple and their family had their A-game on for the fun and sweet wedding family photo session despite some cold rain, hail, wind, and sunshine. Thankfully the gazebo provided some shelter for creating and capturing family moments. Congratulations Marina and Noah! Thank you for having Jolly Sienda Photography be present on your special day.
