Autumn is the perfect time to take a deep breath, exhale, and appreciate our natural beauty surrounding us. Get out there and seize the day! With your camera get off Auto and put your camera to Manual Mode. Adjust the aperture and the shutter speed and use your ISO. The lower the number on the aperture the more light you let in. Using high numbers for shutter speed will freeze action. Using higher ISO number enables your camera to work in lower light conditions with more light. Does that make sense? Yeah, it’s a Pandemic and yes, we’re staying at home for the most part. So, letting go and allowing yourself to get creative with your camera or camera phone and have fun and relax — get into the zone —will probably surprise you because you will get great pictures and you will learn a few new tricks. Our Earth is 4.54 billions years old! The earth is precious. It’s the air we breath, the land we walk on, the land we want our children and their children to have, and as Climate Change shows temperatures are rising on land and on the high seas, drought, changing weather patterns, forest fires, pollution…all of these things put our Earth at risk. So, it’s up to us to do everything we can. Jolly Sienda Photography, based in the greater Puget Sound area (Bremerton, Washington), captures moments in time.
